What this is
zhanle.app turns traditional divinatory systems into tools you can actually read. In English there are two: Vedic astrology (Jyotish, a system some two thousand years old) and Lenormand, the thirty-six-card European deck.
They answer different questions. A chart reads a person — what comes easily, where things stick, how the next few years run. Cards read a situation — where this one thing stands and where it is heading. The first needs a date, time and place of birth; the second needs only the sentence you write.
Why these two
Vedic astrology is not the star signs you know. Western astrology uses the tropical zodiac; Vedic uses the sidereal one, and the ascendant frequently lands in a different sign. It also carries two things Western astrology does not: the 27 nakshatras, dividing the zodiac into 27 segments where the Moon’s position sets a person’s emotional ground note, and the dasha system, which divides a life into stretches each governed by a planet — timing down to the month.
Lenormand differs from tarot: thirty-six cards, fixed meanings, read through combination. Ship plus Anchor is a journey coming to rest; Anchor plus Ship is a settled situation starting to move. Reverse the order and the meaning changes. That mechanism suits the question “where is this thing going”.
The Chinese-language version of this site also carries Zi Wei Dou Shu and the Wong Tai Sin fortune sticks. Those are not open in English yet — not because they are less interesting, but because their interpretive material is written in Chinese and translating it properly is its own body of work.
Where the content comes from
Two layers. The calculation layer is deterministic: planetary positions come from the Swiss Ephemeris, the library astronomers and astrologers both rely on, and the nakshatra divisions, house assignments and dasha periods are implemented rule by rule from the tradition. Card order is hashed from your question, you, and the date — not from a random number. The same input calculated a hundred times gives exactly the same result.
The writing layer translates. It turns an internal conclusion like “Saturn in the 10th, moderate strength” or “Coffin in the middle position” into something like “you suit work that only pays off after years of accumulation”. We deliberately keep the jargon out of the text, because what you came to read is your own situation, not a chart.
Worth stating plainly
This is not prediction. We will not tell you which year you get rich, when you marry, or how long you live. Reports describe tendencies and patterns, not fixed outcomes.
Being wrong is normal. Chart-based reports end each section with “marks already left” — things the chart suggests may have happened in particular past years, there for you to check against. When they do not land, the usual reason is an inaccurate birth time: an hour changes every placement, which is why one free correction is included. Card readings have no such layer; they answer the situation in front of you, and whether it fits is yours to judge.
Do not use this to decide things. See a doctor when you need a doctor, a lawyer when you need a lawyer. The best use of this material is as a mirror — something that helps you put words to a feeling you could not name, not something that decides for you.
